War of the Ring: The Card Game – Hope and Despair (PRE-ORDER)

Hope and Despair brings a new kind of card to War of the Ring: The Card Game — the story card. Drawn from key turning points and pivotal moments across The Lord of the Rings, story cards layer natural and supernatural influence over the events unfolding in Middle-earth, giving both the Free Peoples and the Shadow new ways to sway a campaign.

The expansion adds 54 story cards and 40 story tokens, and can be played alongside the base game alone or combined with the Fire and Swords expansion. A set of Shadow "bot" cards is also included, letting the Free Peoples play solo or co-operatively against the forces of Sauron.
