Triple-O: The Player Character Emulator

Most solo tools ask you to emulate a game master. Triple-O flips it: you play the GM, and the tool plays everyone else. It's built for running published adventure modules solo, exploring your own settings, and handing off secondary characters without having to decide everything yourself.

The engine assumes a character will do the most obvious thing unless there's a reason not to. When a reason turns up, you weigh three possibilities – the Obvious, the Option and the Odd – and resolve which one happens through a short procedure backed by spark tables covering traits, moods and situational pressure.

Originally a one-page tool that sold over 500 copies, this expanded zine edition adds clearer explanations, real-play examples, more use cases and a wider set of tables. System-agnostic and happy alongside any random tables you already use.
