Medievallons (PRE-ORDER)

The beloved monarch is dead, the capital of Medievallons is up for grabs, and none of you are going to be gracious about it.

Each turn you draw a guild card and decide what to do with it. Play it for its immediate effect, spend it to found a new guild, or add it to a guild you already hold to shore that guild up. A guild only stands while it has three matching members — knock one below three and the whole thing collapses back into its owner's hand. Establish three guilds and harness their powers and the throne is yours.

There are 13 guilds, each with an ability of its own, and because every card is both a building block and a weapon, advancing your own plan and dismantling someone else's are usually the same decision. Quick, mean, and over in about half an hour.
