Hunt for Blackbeard

Hunt for Blackbeard is a tense two-player simulation of the real 1718 pursuit of the pirate Edward Thatch — better known as Blackbeard — through the waters of colonial Virginia and North Carolina. One player commands Blackbeard, choosing anchorages, bluffing informants and deciding when to fight and when to run; the other leads the Royal Navy's hunters, weighing a slow, methodical search against a bold strike that risks flushing their quarry into the open.

Every choice tightens the net or buys Blackbeard another day of freedom, building to a final confrontation that could see the hunters capture their prize — or the pirate seize a Navy ship and slip away for good.
