Everspark RPG

Everspark strips epic fantasy roleplaying back to the parts people actually remember: the quests, the characters and the moments where a plan falls apart. There are no stat blocks to wrestle with and nothing to prepare in advance – all you need is a d20, a d6 and a pad of sticky notes.

Characters come together in five to fifteen minutes from a pool of some 8,000 ancestry, background and class combinations. Rolls are read on a sliding scale rather than pass-or-fail, so a result can be a clean success, a qualified one, or a success that costs you something. Progress is tracked with Sparks – hand-drawn five-point stars that stand in for wounds, journeys, negotiations, mysteries and anything else that unfolds over time.

Four modes of play are supported, including solo, co-operative and GM-less, and the system happily runs published adventures from other d20 games without conversion.
