Dorfromantik: Head to Head (PRE-ORDER)

A fast, purely competitive two-player take on the Spiel des Jahres winner — a standalone box, not an expansion, and a lighter, quicker redesign of Dorfromantik: The Duel.

Each round runs in two phases. First you draft: the two of you alternately take landscape and task tiles from a shared offer, watching what the other one leaves behind as much as what you want yourself. Then you place, revealing and laying your chosen tiles one at a time to grow your own private hex landscape.

Points come from serving the villagers — fulfilling forest, grain and village contracts, holding the longest river in your own area, and planting flags in completed regions — with completed mountains and lakes scoring too, which is new to this edition. Whoever builds the more idyllic landscape wins the duel.
