Chiachio & Giannone: Calaverita

Calaverita celebrates diversity through traditional Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) iconography and masterful textile art. Its creators embroider technical excellence with a wink of social irony. “We are Chiachio & Giannone, an artist who has two heads and four hands,” say Leo Chiachio and Daniel Giannone of their partnership in life and art.
