Building the Vulcan

Inside a busy hangar, an Avro Vulcan stands high on its undercarriage while the finishing touches are made. Ground crew in white coats move between gantries and access platforms, a row of Olympus engines waits on trolleys, and that unmistakable delta wing stretches out beneath the blue steelwork of the roof.

A carefully observed tribute to one of Britain's most distinctive aircraft, and to the people who built it. Part of Falcon de luxe's 50th anniversary range.
